Treatment for opioid, kratom and alcohol addiction
Confidential, judgment-free, and handled like any other medical condition — because that's what it is.
Addiction is a medical condition with effective treatments. People who get care do better than people who try to do it alone, and the hardest part is usually the first phone call.
You will not be lectured here. You'll be asked what's going on, what you've tried, and what you want — and treated by a physician who has seen the whole range of how this goes.
What we treat
Opioid addiction — prescription pain medication, heroin, or fentanyl. Whether it started with a legitimate prescription or somewhere else, the treatment is the same and it works.
Kratom dependence — Kratom is sold legally in gas stations and smoke shops, often as something for pain or for getting off opioids. A lot of people don't realize it's habit-forming until they try to stop and the withdrawal hits. We treat it as the dependence it is, and you won't have to explain what kratom is when you get here.
Alcohol addiction and withdrawal — from drinking that's quietly gotten out of hand to full physical dependence. We manage alcohol withdrawal here on an outpatient basis, with medication and close guidance through the days when it's hardest.
When withdrawal needs a hospital instead. Most people can be managed safely in an outpatient setting. Some can't. If you've had a withdrawal seizure or delirium tremens before, or you have significant heart, liver or other medical conditions, inpatient care is safer. We assess this at the first visit — and if the hospital is the right answer, we'll tell you plainly.
How treatment works here
- An honest first visit — history, what you've tried, what you want
- Lab work to check what the substance use has done to your liver, kidneys and blood counts
- Medication-assisted treatment with buprenorphine and buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone) for opioid and kratom dependence
- Alcohol withdrawal managed here, with medication and close follow-up
- Regular follow-up, because the first month is the one that matters most
