Sick visits
When something comes up suddenly
Sick visits, often the same day. Faster than urgent care, and we already have your chart.
You don't need an emergency room for a sinus infection, and urgent care doesn't know your history. For most sudden illness, your own doctor's office is the right place — and usually the least expensive one.
Common reasons people come in
- Sore throat, cough, fever, flu symptoms
- Sinus and ear infections
- Urinary tract infections
- Skin infections, rashes, insect bites
- Minor cuts, sprains and injuries
- Stomach illness and allergic reactions
Testing we can do during your visit
- COVID-19
- Influenza A and B
- Strep throat
- Urinalysis — including urinary tract infections
- Pregnancy — urine and blood
We also draw full blood work on site, so if your symptoms point somewhere else we can look the same day rather than sending you elsewhere.
When to go elsewhere instead. Chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of stroke, severe bleeding, or any injury you'd call serious — go straight to an emergency room or call 911. Don't wait for an appointment.
